Night Cleaner

We are currently recruiting a Night Shift Domestic Cleaner to join the team at our clients accommodation centre in Dublin 1. This role will be on a temporary basis for 5/6 weeks but there may be the opportunity to go permanent for the right person.
The Domestic Cleaner plays a vital role in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness, hygiene, and tidiness throughout the centre. This role supports the delivery of a safe, clean, and dignified living environment for residents, in line with HIQA National Standards, DRHE contractual requirements, and centre policies and procedures.

Salary & Benefits:

• Hourly Rate: €14.50
• Hours: 7:00pm – 7:00am (Saturday, Sunday, Monday & Tuesday)

Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining designated areas, including:
• Communal bathrooms and toilets
• Kitchens and dining areas
• Social and recreational spaces
• Corridors, stairways, and entrances
• Offices and staff areas (where required)
• Residents’ bedrooms (where required and in line with access and privacy policies)

Additional duties include:

• Following daily, weekly, and periodic cleaning schedules
• Undertaking deep-cleaning tasks as assigned
• Using cleaning products, chemicals, PPE, and equipment safely and in line with training and manufacturer instructions
• Ensuring cleaning equipment, products, and storage areas are kept clean, tidy, and secure

Key Requirements:

• Previous cleaning experience (preferred)
• Ability to work night shifts reliably
• Good attention to detail
• Strong understanding of hygiene and safety standards
• Professional, respectful, and dependable approach
• Ability to work independently
