Solicitor – Commercial & Regulatory

A major Dublin-based utilities provider is currently seeking to hire Interim Legal Counsel for a fixed period of approximately 4 months.
This role, which will be undertaken on a daily-rate contract, will see the successful candidate working on a variety of commercial and regulatory matters under Irish Law. 

Hours: 9am to 5:30pm (Mon to Fri)
Working Model: Hybrid
Office Location: Central Dublin

Role and Responsibilities

As Interim Legal Counsel, you will play a vital role in providing expert, business-focused legal support and advice in the following areas:

1.    Commercial Contracts: related to the energy sector
2.    Sponsor and Marketing Agreements: with well-known local organisations and online entities
3.    Commercial Project Support: including infrastructure and outsourcing agreements
4.    Regulatory Compliance: sector specific observance of regulatory parameters

Candidate Characteristics
•    Qualified as a Solicitor in Ireland
•    3+ years PQE with the majority of this being in commercial contracts, ideally working within heavily regulated industries
•    Working knowledge of areas outlined in above responsibilities
•    Commercially minded with the ability to work within tight regulatory frameworks
•    Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced legal environment
•    Adaptable, proactive and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
