Transport Planner – Co. Louth
An exciting opportunity has opened with a fast-growing international logistics company specialising in out-of-gauge and specialist transport across Europe.
They’re looking for an experienced Transport Planner to join their team in a busy, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You’ll be responsible for planning and costing transport solutions, coordinating drivers, managing schedules, and ensuring operations run efficiently and compliantly across Europe.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working in a fast-paced environment, and being a key part of a growing operation.
Salary & Benefits
€55,000 DOE
Full-time, permanent role
On-site parking
Based on-site in Co. Louth
Opportunity to grow with an expanding international business
Duties:
Plan and cost pan-European transport solutions
Schedule drivers and ensure compliance with EU driving regulations
Coordinate third-party hauliers and monitor fleet performance
Act as a key point of contact for drivers and clients
Identify ways to improve routes, systems, and efficiencies
Help ensure smooth day-to-day transport operations
Skills:
2+ years’ experience in transport planning or logistics
Good knowledge of EU transport regulations and route planning
Strong communication and organisational skills
Comfortable working in a busy, fast-moving environment
Strong Excel and problem-solving abilities
CPC qualification would be an advantage
