Corporate Finance Analyst / Advisor – Permanent Dublin Hybrid Working
We are currently recruiting for a Corporate Finance Analyst / Advisor to join a high-profile organisation operating at the centre of the Irish public and commercial sector. Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the shareholder oversight of a portfolio of large commercial organisations
Review and analyse financial reports, including annual and interim accounts and business plans
Evaluate borrowing, funding and capital expenditure proposals for approval
Analyse acquisition, disposal and joint venture proposals from a financial perspective
Monitor financial targets such as dividends, profitability, gearing and valuations
Conduct industry and market analysis, including competitor research
Support oversight of climate and sustainability objectives across portfolio companies
Assist in developing and reviewing strategic initiatives to enhance shareholder value
Build and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making
Liaise with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior internal teams and external bodies
Prepare high-quality, commercially focused reports for senior decision-makers
Requirements:
Degree in a relevant discipline (Finance, Business, Commerce, Accounting or Economics)
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a relevant financial role within professional services, advisory, or a large commercial organisation
Professional qualification or progress towards one is highly desirable (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CFA or similar)
Strong financial and commercial analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Proficient in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Self-motivated, diligent and able to work both independently and as part of a team
