Accounts Assistant
Osborne recruitment is proud to represent our client based in Wexford who are seeking to hire a full-time, permanent Accounts Assistant.
The Accounts Assistant will be a key part of our clients Finance team and will have a logical and methodical approach with good numeracy skills, reporting directly into the Finance Manager.
An attractive salary in line with experience is on offer as well as company contributory pension, sick pay scheme and holidays (all in excess of legal minimum) and car-parking space.
Key Responsibilities:
• Credit Control and account queries
• Prepare lodgements and process credit card payments
• Accounts Payable month end procedures
• Assisting with preparation of Management Accounts
• Processing of supplier invoices
• Provide assistance with audits or internal requests
• Any other duties as set out by the Finance Manager
Skills & Experience Required:
• Previous experience in Credit Control would be advantageous
• Previous accounts experience advantageous
• Experience working in a busy open plan office setting
• Competent in MS Office (Excel, Word & Outlook)
• High attention to detail, accuracy and numeracy
• Excellent telephone manner and Customer communication skills
• Ability to work individually and in a team setting
• Strong time management and organisational skills
