Project Manager

Our client, a well-established construction contractor, is seeking a motivated and experienced Project Manager to oversee the delivery of apartment and hotel projects. This role offers the opportunity to manage multiple high-quality developments while progressing your career in a dynamic and growing organisation.

About the Role
The Project Manager will be responsible for the full construction lifecycle of projects, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and to the client’s required standards of quality and specification. This role is ideal for a driven construction professional with experience in apartments, hotels, or large-scale fit out projects, looking for career progression in a supportive and professional environment.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure full compliance with all health and safety regulations, including PSCS responsibilities.
  • Review and understand all contract documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
  • Manage client expectations and maintain strong professional relationships throughout the project.
  • Develop and manage project programmes, ensuring schedules and milestones are met.
  • Track progress and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance with a focus on quality, safety, cost, and programme.
  • Work closely with the QS to manage budgets, variations, and cost control.
  • Attend and lead regular meetings with clients, design teams, and senior management.
  • Coordinate procurement and supply chain activities to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Address queries or concerns from clients, regulatory bodies, or the public as required.
  • Ensure company policies, procedures, and quality standards are adhered to on site.
  • Lead, organise, and motivate site teams and subcontractors to achieve project objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for process and performance improvements and implement solutions.

Requirements

  • Degree in Construction Management or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience managing apartment, hotel, or large residential/commercial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Microsoft Project.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Attention to detail and excellent technical knowledge of construction methodology, building processes, and interior finishes.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Highly organised with strong resource and budget management skills.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently and collaboratively.
