We are seeking an experienced a temporary service & operational manager to lead regional advocacy services and contribute to national policy and strategic development. This role provides leadership to a team of advocates, ensures high-quality service delivery for people with disabilities, and strengthens key stakeholder relationships across the region.

Remote work with Nationwide travel regularly required
Full drivers licence and access to a car essential
Key Responsibilities:
Implement the organisation’s Strategic Plan as part of the Senior Management Team.
Support national projects, policy development and organisational communications.
Lead, manage and develop the regional advocacy team, ensuring high-quality, person-centred service delivery.
Oversee caseload allocation, case recording, and adherence to data protection standards.
Provide supervision, performance management (PMDS), and staff development.
Prepare regional reports, evaluate service impact, and manage the regional budget.
Ensure compliance with HR policies and employment legislation.
Engage with local service providers to drive service improvements.
Provide limited direct advocacy support when required.
Requirements:
Strong leadership skills with experience managing high-performance teams.
Understanding of advocacy practice and disability rights.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
Knowledge of disability legislation, social policy and person-centred planning.
High integrity, sound judgement, and ability to work effectively in a team.
Degree (NFQ Level 7+) in Social Sciences, Humanities, Law or equivalent experience.
Minimum 2 years’ management experience in a service-delivery environment within advocacy or healthcare
Commitment to staff development and capacity-building.
