Machine Operator

Our client in Dunmanway is seeking Machine Operators to join their growing production team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with mechanical aptitude or previous machine experience to build a long-term career with a reputable West Cork employer.

• Location: Dunmanway, West Cork
• Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
• Shifts: 6:00am–2:00pm / 2:30pm–10:30pm
• Salary: Competitive, DOE

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor production machinery across various departments
• Set up machines, complete routine checks, and ensure smooth operation
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines
• Carry out basic machine troubleshooting and report issues promptly
• Perform routine cleaning of equipment and work areas
• Record production data and complete quality checks
• Work collaboratively with team leaders and production staff

Requirements:

• Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience highly desirable
• Mechanical awareness and ability to follow technical instructions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
