Accommodation Supervisor

Osborne Recruitment are working with a prestigious 4-star hotel in South Dublin that is seeking a motivated and dedicated Accommodation Supervisor to join their team. This role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring that rooms are managed efficiently and that guests experience exceptional service. The successful candidate will lead a team, maintain high standards of cleanliness, and contribute to a positive and welcoming environment for both guests and staff. With a strong focus on hospitality, organisational skills, and a commitment to excellence, this is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to advance their career in the industry.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage daily room assignments, ensuring efficient allocation and cleanliness of guest rooms according to hotel standards and SOP's.
  • Supervise housekeeping staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high levels of performance and motivation.
  • Inspect rooms regularly to maintain cleanliness, organisation, and adherence to safety standards.
  • Address guest concerns and feedback regarding room cleanliness or maintenance, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
  • Ensure inventory of supplies and linen are satisfactory.
  • Coordinate with front desk, and other departments.
  • Attend and contribute to meetings.
  • Prepare staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak times.
  • Ensure all health, safety, and hygiene standards are consistently met in all accommodation areas.
  • Keep accurate records of room inspections, staff performance, inventory levels, and any maintenance issues.

Key requirements:

  • Previous leadership experience in a 3/4 star hotel.
  • Previous experience within an accommodation department.
  • Hands on approach.
  • Experience of implementing and driving high standards.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly across a 7 day roster
