Production Supervisor- Permanent role- €42K + Shift Premium

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Production Supervisor on behalf of one of our well- known clients here in Naas, Co. Kildare. We are looking for someone with the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven professional who is passionate about optimising production processes, maintaining high-quality standards, and motivating teams to achieve excellence.

Location: Naas, Co. Kildare
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent role (Please note: This role will be done on a 24/7 shift roster)
Salary: €42,000 + 30% premium (24/7 shift roster)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations of production lines, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Provide guidance, motivation, and support to team leaders and operators.
  • Ensure compliance with good manufacturing practices, food safety, and health & safety standards.
  • Meet production and quality targets while maintaining service excellence.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct regular quality checks and maintain records to meet customer and legal requirements.
  • Assist with scheduling, employee training, and performance management.
  • Respond to employee queries and address concerns promptly.
  • Drive a positive team culture, promoting collaboration and effective communication.
  • Support grievance and disciplinary processes in conjunction with management and HR.
  • Flexibly adapt to rotating shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in food manufacturing, experience within Meat is advantageous.
  • Proven management experience in a similar role is required.
  • Third-level education is desirable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational and project management abilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills.
