People Partner

As a People Partner, you will be instrumental in driving our people strategy by delivering HR services and initiatives. Reporting to the People Manager, you will work closely with senior leaders across faculties and schools to implement HR strategies that align with the organization's strategic vision and objectives. This role combines strategic guidance with practical operational support, with a focus on talent management, performance, employee relations, and organizational development.

Job Type: 3 Year Contract
Salary Scale: €57,645-€77,954

Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Partnership:

  • Advise leaders on HR strategies, providing support that aligns with organizational goals and priorities.
  • Provide practical advice to Leaders on policies, procedures and employee matters.
  • Offer advice on people related challenges and assist with implementation of solutions.

Resource Planning:

  • Provide advice and guidance to stakeholders on preparing robust and well supported staffing submissions.
  • Deliver business intelligence and key insights to support decision making at resource committee level.
  • Collaborate on Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP), supporting all stages of the process.

Talent Acquisition:

  • Work closely with the Talent Acquisition (TA) team to support recruitment strategies.
  • Partner with faculty and unit leaders to ensure effective recruitment and retention planning.
  • Support pre- and post-recruitment activities, including interview participation.

Employee Relations:

  • Foster a respectful, inclusive work environment through open communication.
  • Address employee concerns and provide practical guidance on conflict resolution.
  • Partner with the People Manager and ER/IR team on employment legislation and best practices.

Performance Management:

  • Champion the Performance Review and Development (PRD) process across Clients site. Collaborate on the probation process for new hires, supporting underperformance management.
  • Assist Manager in setting goals and providing constructive feedback to employees.

Relationship Management:

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring HR policies and services align with clients People strategy.

HR Operations:

  • Ensure timely completion of HR administrative tasks and compliance documentation.
  • Participate in HR projects and policy reviews to ensure they meet evolving needs.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • CIPD membership is ideal.
  • 3+ years in an HR Business Partner or similar role, with comprehensive HR knowledge.
  • Proven experience in relationship building, communication, and conflict resolution.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and other HR tools
