Final Test Technician 

Our client is a leading healthcare manufacturing company. We are seeking a talented and experienced Final Test Technician to join their team for a 23-month contract at their North Dublin location. This is a fully onsite role in a fast-paced and safety-conscious environment, ideal for professionals with a strong technical background and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Testing System Setup: Set up and operate testing systems to ensure all product specifications are met and criteria are satisfied.
  • Product Inspection: Perform inspections by interpreting engineering diagrams, specification criteria, and testing methodologies to ensure compliance with design and quality standards.
  • Sample Preparation: Prepare samples for chemical testing, ensuring adherence to proper protocols and accuracy.
  • Non-Conforming Product Management: Identify, report, and manage non-conforming products. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution and corrective actions.
  • Engineering Support: Assist the engineering team with design reviews, inspections, equipment assessments, and the implementation of new test procedures.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Complete all necessary paperwork and reports related to testing, inspections, and non-conformance, ensuring accurate and timely data entry.
  • Repair & Overseeing Work: Oversee repair work on defective products, collaborating with relevant departments to ensure issues are addressed efficiently and in compliance with safety standards.
  • Safety Awareness: Maintain a high level of safety awareness, adhering to all health and safety protocols, and proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks.

Key Requirements:

  • Third-level qualification in Engineering (e.g., Engineering Degree, Diploma, or QQI Level 6 Certificate in Engineering).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in healthcare.
  • Proficient in using PCs and software such as Word, Excel, Microsoft Windows, and SAP. Familiarity with engineering diagrams and test systems is essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure while meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage non-conforming products and provide timely solutions.
  • Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with engineering and production staff.
