Renewable Energy Business Development Manager

Are you a highly motivated sales professional with a passion for renewable energy?
Osborne is currently sourcing a Renewable Energy Business Development Manager for our client, one of Ireland’s leading renewable energy providers.
Based remotely, you will develop B2B sales across Ireland, helping businesses adopt cost-effective solar energy solutions.

Location: All Ireland, hybrid
Salary: €70,000 + Benefits + Commission (OTE €130,000+)

The Ideal Candidate Can Demonstrate:

  • 5 years’+ experience in sales, business development, or account management  in renewable energy sectors, industrial sales, or building services.
  • Proven track record networking, pitching, presenting and closing sales at upper management level
  • Ability to clearly identify client needs and create tailored solutions
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Aptitude for clearly communicating complex technical solutions to non-technical clients
  • A commission-driven determination to close deals
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Experience using CRM systems
  • Aptitude to thrive in a hybrid working environment, balancing remote work with in-person meetings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute annual sales strategies and targeted prospecting plans
  • Engage with clients and key stakeholders across Ireland, building relationships and expanding opportunities
  • Drive new business growth through all stages of the sales cycle
  • Maintain a consistent sales pipeline
  • Conduct site evaluations and financial assessments to offer tailored solutions
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences
  • Build lasting relationships with decision-makers, educating them on the benefits of solar energy
  • Manage customer data within CRM systems to ensure accurate reporting
  • Work collaboratively across departments
