Qualified Accountant

An exciting opportunity has arisen with a client – They are seeking a part time accountant – to work 1 day a week on site in the Dublin 15 area. The successful candidate will be on site for the first 2 weeks of the assignment and then it will revert to 1 day per week.

If the candidate had an FMCG/Hospitality background it’s a distinct advantage!

Responsibilities and duties:

• Ownership of the reporting pack and presentation of commentary for all companies by the deadline each month
• Coordinate updates to cash flow planning and financial projections
• Identify and implement improvements in financial processes and systems (payroll, bank transactions, balance sheet reconciliations for example).
• Establish and maintain communication with finance department.
• Assist with the implementation of new standards and IT software updates
• Prepare and submit all ROS activity
• Ensuring that invoicing systems and processes are maintained in an up-to-date condition and compliant.
• Maintenance of Creditors ledger and the associated follow-up
• Ensure stocks are correctly stated in month-end management accounts
• Update finance policies and procedures documentation as appropriate
• Complete year end Processes
• Other ad-hoc matters as they arise

Requirements for Role:

• Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA/CPA
• 3+ years experience in a similar role or Industry
• Being able to work on your own initiative, while also being able to work well as part of a team
• Experience with cash flow planning and payroll processes
• IT literate with SAGE/ INTACT/ Thesaurus/ Brightpay/ROS online Experience beneficial.
