Senior Bookkeeper – Exciting Opportunity to Lead Your Own Client Portfolio

We are seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join a dynamic and well-established accounting practice based in Dublin 2. Location: Dublin 2
Hybrid Working: Option for hybrid working after probation
Hours: 9am to 5pm (Mon – Thurs), 4:30pm finish on Fridays

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of clients, overseeing day-to-day bookkeeping tasks
  • Process sales invoices, receipts, and payments accurately and efficiently
  • Reconcile debtor and creditor accounts
  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Allocate payments and manage cash flow
  • Process VAT returns and RCT payment notifications via ROS
  • Prepare accounts to trial balance and assist with year-end processes
  • Support ad hoc accounting tasks as needed, contributing to a smooth financial operation for clients

Key Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar bookkeeping role
  • Proficiency with Sage is desirable
  • Familiarity with RCT is advantageous
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on client service
