Receptionist (Permanent)

Here at Osborne we are seeking a friendly, organised, and professional Receptionist on behalf of our client, a well-established Financial Services company. As the first point of contact for visitors, staff, and customers, you will play a vital role in ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment. The ideal candidate will thrive in a customer-facing role, be proactive in managing tasks, and enjoy contributing to the smooth running of the office.

Salary: €28,000 – €30,000
Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (Monday – Friday) – Completely onsite 
Annual Leave: 21 Days
Location: Dublin 4

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a warm and professional welcome to all visitors and staff, creating a positive first impression.
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls in a timely and efficient manner (no switchboard).
  • Manage visitor schedules, book meeting rooms, and arrange refreshments as required.
  • Receive, distribute, and manage deliveries and post throughout the building.
  • Coordinate courier bookings and maintain related records.
  • Monitor and manage company car park usage.
  • Handle general premises-related administration, including liaising with third-party service providers for maintenance and repairs.
  • Provide ad hoc administrative support to various departments as required.
  • Order and organise office supplies, ensuring stock levels are maintained.
  • Act as Fire Warden, ensuring safety procedures are followed.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a professional attitude.
  • A highly organised individual with excellent time management skills.
  • Proactive, task-oriented, and able to multi-task in a busy office environment.
  • Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.

About Your Experience:

  • Previous customer service and administration experience is essential.
  • Experience in a similar front-of-house or office administration role is desirable, but not essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing or office-based environment is a plus.
