We have partnered up with a fanatic organisation based in Monaghan who are looking to hire an Estate Manager. The Estate manager plays a key role in leading and overseeing a team to Ensure the smooth Operation for the Estate. In this position, you will manage a dedicated team of long serving staff who are integral to fostering the welcoming atmosphere for all visitors. This role is vital in upholding the currently hight standards of hospitality marking this role ideal for someone with a genuine passion for people, art, and culture. You will be working closely with the Director, and you will be part of the management team that develops and delivers annual and rolling operational plans. This is an ideal role for someone who can work independently, leading the team and coordinating residents, while also managing the day-to-day maintenance and overall upkeep of the property.

Duties:
Maintaining excellent high standards to lead, manage and work with a team of full and part time staff.
Responsible for creating workflow, scheduling, and rostering staff. Supervising staff and supporting them with training and upskilling when necessary
Day to day management, hospitality, and operational efficiency to maintain the culture as a world-renowned residential workplace for artists.
Responsible for the day to day running of the estate which includes welcoming visiting guests, manage the teams’ work plans, budgets, and liaison with he OPW contractors and subcontractors to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the Estate.
Work with the Director, you will be responsible for exemplary standards of comfort and warm welcome the residents.
Oversee the estate budgetary management and controls, quality systems, administration and catering, housekeeping, contract staff including wardens and maintenance.
Oversee the implementation and review of policies and procedures to support the smooth operation an ensure that activities are sustainable and efficient.
Develop a plan for maintenance works for the Estate.
You will be a key holder and will be required to be onsite outside of office hours from time to time.
Requirements:
Strong Leadership skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience of supporting and setting a positive work culture and the ethical standards of the organisation
Experience implementing organisational management programmes including workplace HR, Health & Safety standards, and practices.
Experience in a management role ideally 6+ years and proven record of accomplishment in a similar environment.
Must have a full clean driver’s license.
