At Osborne, we’re delighted to have partnered with a dynamic, full-service law firm to recruit a junior Solicitor to their growing team based in a wonderful location in Dublin 4. 

The successful candidate will form an integral part of this busy legal organization, managing a diverse and interesting caseload, and advising and representing business and personal clients in the areas of commercial law, real estate, litigation, and wills & probate.  

Role and responsibilities
You can expect to be involved in the following:

  • Commercial matters including purchase & sale of companies, loan agreements, shareholder agreements, corporate governance
  • Commercial real estate transactions involving retail, commercial and industrial properties, construction contracts, long and short-term leases
  • Commercial and civil litigation, personal injury claims, mediations, arbitration, employment disputes
  • Extensive legal drafting including contracts, briefs, wills, trusts, and conveyancing documents.
  • Business development activities to include networking and other client engagement, retainment and relationship building activities.

Candidate Characteristics
The ideal candidate will have all or most of the following:

  • NQ to 2 years PQE – Qualified in Ireland with demonstrable pre/post-qualification experience running own caseload with minimal supervision. 
  • Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and legal procedures.
  • Dedication to meeting the needs and priorities of the clients of the firm and providing friendly, cost-effective and personalised advice in all matters.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Willingness and enthusiasm for conducting business development activities.
