Senior CAD Technician – Clonmel

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Senior CAD Technician will coordinate project-related design activities, creating technical drawings and schematics for a large manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop technical drawings and design schematics based on engineer/designer specifications.
• Support project design, converting concepts into detailed technical drawings.
• Manage and update design libraries, drawings, and O&M manuals.
• Assist in supervising contractors as needed.
• Build relationships with OEMs and vendors for asset upgrades.
• Stay updated on relevant design software and ensure safety compliance.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Proficient in 2D and 3D CAD (AutoCAD, Solidworks).
• Knowledge of Process Flow Diagrams and Piping/Instrumentation design.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in design and project management.
• Strong organizational, communication, and IT skills (MS Office).
