Head of Supply Chain – South Leinster

Osborne Executive are working in partnership with a rapidly growing FMCG company to appoint an experienced Supply Chain Manager to support and drive its continued business expansion.
This dynamic organisation specializes in sourcing, importing, and distributing high-quality food and beverage products across Ireland. Position: Supply Chain Manager
Position Summary: Reporting directly to the CFO, the Supply Chain Manager will be a key member of the senior leadership team, overseeing all aspects of the supply chain to ensure efficiency, quality, and profitability align with the company's growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supply Chain Oversight: Manage and coordinate all warehouse operations, logistics, customer service, and procurement activities to ensure seamless and efficient processes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with departments such as sales, finance, and HR, as well as liaise with counterparts across the broader group as needed.
  • Performance Management: Develop, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Project Leadership: Lead and drive supply chain projects that are critical to achieving the company's strategic growth plans.
  • Team Development: Coach and mentor direct reports, fostering professional growth and building high-performing teams.
  • International Support: Provide support to international operations as required, ensuring consistency and excellence across all markets.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experience: Proven track record in supply chain management within a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment, preferably in the FMCG sector.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the food and beverage industry, including current trends and best practices.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communicator with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in motivating, mentoring, and developing teams.
  • Operational Excellence: Hands-on approach with strong organizational skills, capable of managing diverse and competing demands effectively.
  • Proactive Mindset: Self-starter with the initiative to identify opportunities, solve problems, and make impactful decisions.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong business sense with the ability to collaborate closely with sales and finance teams to drive commercial success.
