Osborne Executive Search is proudly partnering with a leading industrial manufacturer to find an experienced Operations and Operational Excellence Manager for their Irish site. This key role involves overseeing production, driving operational excellence, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Reporting to: General Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Lead production and support teams, optimizing resources and supporting future expansion.
Drive Operational Excellence (OPEX) initiatives using lean leadership practices.
Analyse data and KPIs to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
Lead innovation, automation, and digitalization projects.
Support business continuity planning and insurance assessment.
Develop and monitor training plans for staff.
Deputize for the General Manager as needed.
Experience & Qualifications:
Technical training in Engineering or relevant Trade, with a business qualification (minimum degree level).
Experience managing 30-50 reports and formal leadership training.
Proven success in driving operational excellence in a WCM environment.
Experience with injection moulding or steel stamping is a plus.
Competencies:
Strong leadership and strategic vision.
Ability to influence and develop team members.
Innovative problem solver with a continuous improvement mindset.
Proficient in ERP systems (preferably SAP) and strong IT skills.
Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.
