Foreman/Supervisor

We are delighted to be working with our candidate who operate within the Steel Fabrication industry who are looking for a Foreman/Supervisor to join their team on full time basis located in Co. Cork.

Responsibilities:

  • Must be able to read, understand and work to fabrication drawings and inspect / check fabrication work.
  • Working with detailers to identify issues and resolve problems.
  • Follow and understand and EN 1090 Execution Class 4 processes.
  • Control of manufacturing documents and records in accordance with our EN1090 management systems.
  • Have a strong ability to organise the workshop and site teams.
  • Working with management to schedule and prioritise the manufacturing schedule.
  • Prioritising the workforce to meet changing deadlines and site deliveries.
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure (to meet deadlines etc.), demonstrating a logical and methodical approach to workloads.
  • Overseeing health & safety within the workshop and maintaining a safe working environment
  • Liaising with the quality and engineering departments to ensure all relevant welding or quality issues are addressed.
  • Completing quality checks prior to delivery.
  • Managing and re-ordering stock of welding & workshop consumables and equipment.
  • Issuing and monitoring workshop PPE.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Trades person or suitably experienced
  • RWC Qualification desirable
  • Computer Literate
  • Full driving licence
