Assistant Production Manager

Osborne recruitment are working with a leading manufacturer in West Cork who is currently looking for an Assistant Production Manager to join their growing team.

For you:

• €40-45K DOE
• Parking onsite
• Training and development

Responsibilities:

• Implement Production Plan & adjust where necessary with Production manager.
• Manage daily employee schedules.
• Ensuring Targets/KPI’s are met.
• Manage the performance of the production team.
• Rectify minor technical problems, if possible, Notify Maintenance of any long-term issues.
• Production Planning/ Purchasing/Maintenance/Quality
• Maintain & improve safe Factory layout (Moulds/Tools & equipment/Products)
• Assist with data entry (SAP) to keep records for production/stock/non-conforming waste up to date.
• Ensure Start/Shutdown procedures followed.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Shift Supervisor or similar role leading a team.
• Strong Communication, Leadership and Decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of basic software, such as Word and Excel, ERP systems an advantage for Data entry & reporting.
• The ability to multi-task between Administration & physical work to ensure smooth running of the plant.
