Senior Auditor Opportunity in Dublin 2

Osborne Recruitment is excited to offer a dynamic opportunity for a Senior Auditor to join a reputable firm located in the vibrant heart of Dublin 2.
This role is ideal for an experienced auditor seeking to leverage their expertise in a position that offers significant potential for career advancement.

Location: Dublin 2
Salary: €60,000+  per annum, DOE
Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Annual Leave: 22 days

Role Overview: 
As a Senior Auditor, you will take the lead on a variety of audit assignments across multiple sectors, demonstrating both leadership and expertise.

Your role will ensure the delivery of high-quality audit services, meeting strict compliance standards and fostering strong relationships with clients and team members alike.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a diverse range of audit assignments, ensuring all aspects are conducted efficiently and effectively.
  • Plan and oversee audit assignments, providing clear guidance on risks and expectations to team members.
  • Draft and finalize high-quality financial statements and audit reports, making practical recommendations to address any risks or weaknesses identified.
  • Maintain productive working relationships with both colleagues and clients, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration.
  • Regularly communicate with partners regarding significant issues and progress on assignments.
  • Manage multiple audit engagements simultaneously, adhering strictly to budgets, timelines, and resource allocations.
  • Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to junior staff members, actively contributing to their professional development and performance evaluations.

 

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • Must be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • Strong background in developing audit strategies and Terms of Engagement for various engagements.
  • Extensive knowledge and practical experience with FRS102, Irish GAAP, and CA2014.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage diverse client portfolios across multiple industry sectors.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proven project management capabilities, able to handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
