Administrator – Corporate Governance – Permanent – Hybrid – Dublin 3
Here at Osborne, we are currently recruiting for an administrator within the corporate governance department of our client’s growing team.
The Corporate Governance Team provides secretariat and corporate governance support to our client’s board and sub-committees. The person appointed to the Corporate Governance role will work closely with the members of the team to provide a comprehensive secretariat and administration support to the various committees which govern the business.

Salary: €24,424

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting a number of committees ensuring the logistics of the meeting are seamlessly coordinated, accurate notes are recorded and draft minutes are prepared to accurately reflect the decisions of the committee.
  • Ensure that the Committee SharePoint page accurately reflects the processes, dates and times of these committees.
  • Assist colleagues across the organisation with queries related to Corporate Governance including the committee process.
  • Providing support to the executives on the team in relation to Risk, Internal Audit, Quality Customer Service, insurance, and the Code of Practice for the Governance of State bodies,
  • Liaise and engage with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Carry out general administrative activities including the maintenance of Corporate Governance folders and systems and assisting other team members in the Department as required.
  • Ensuring that all stakeholders are served professionally, efficiently, and effectively.
  • Support all budget administration activities including the Department’s purchase requisitions and reporting.
  • Provide administrative support for key projects as may be assigned from time to time.
  • Play a positive and active role as a key contributor to the Corporate Governance team.

Skills:

  • A minimum of 3 – 6 months experience in an administrative environment.
  • A relevant third level qualification i.e legal, compliance, governance or similar
  • Experience in processing confidential and time-sensitive information, demonstrating accuracy and attention to detail is essential.
  • Excellent prioritisation, organisation and planning skills with the ability to manage workload and time efficiently to meet strict deadlines is essential.
  • Ability to take clear, concise minutes / notes and recording decisions of meetings.
  • Demonstrated MS Office skills including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint is essential, coupled with an ability to learn new technologies
  • Ability to comprehend complex information and data.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, confidently and effectively via oral and written communications.
