Field Service Engineers possess strong expertise in common end-user and IT infrastructure issues and technologies, including mature ones. Backed by at least 2+ years of hands-on experience, they excel as powerful communicators and effective problem solvers, particularly when clients require guidance. This role emphasizes promptness, effective communication with clients, and maximizing first-time fix resolution. As a field-based position, extensive travel to various client sites is required.

Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot PC-related problems.
Build, configure, and troubleshoot PC and laptop applications and hardware components.
Coordinate warranty repairs with relevant hardware vendors.
Perform ad-hoc deployment and on-site installation of workstation hardware and software.
Coordinate workstation asset recovery.
Maintain workstation/workstation spare parts break/fix, upgrades, and new hires.
Complete incidents and requests within SLA in a pressurized environment.
Ensure daily ticket updates.
Support meeting room environment and video conferencing setups.
Support printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
Support mobile devices such as iPads, iPhones, and Apple MAC devices.
End-user data backup and restoration as required.
Continuously learn and share new skills through independent research, formal training, and industry events.
Skills & Competencies:

Strong computer literacy, especially in Microsoft applications.

Credentials and Experience:
IT/Computer Science-related college qualification.
Technical certifications such as CompTIA A+ (901, 902), CompTIA N, Microsoft, Cisco, Fortinet, Dell.
2+ years of experience in Windows system administration.
Experience with server and client operating system integration, software installation, setup, and management.
Experience with Active Directory, user management.
Experience with Office 365, user management, troubleshooting, setup.
Familiarity with PC, printer, and server hardware.
Exposure to firewalls, preferably Fortinet.
Experience in LAN/WAN environments, maintaining network services, security, and administration.
Working knowledge of wireless technologies.
