Business Development Manager Oil & Gas sector– Permanent – Dublin

Location: Dublin 12

Salary : €65,000 D.O.E

About the Role:
We are currently seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager with expertise in the Oil & Gas sector or large engines. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth through identifying and pursuing new opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships, and expanding our client base. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and business development within the specified industries, with a proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and building long-term relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to drive growth and expansion within the Oil & Gas sector or large engine markets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including market analysis, prospecting, and lead generation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to understand their needs and identify opportunities for collaboration.
  • Lead the negotiation and closing of new business deals, including contract negotiations and pricing agreements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to develop tailored solutions and meet client needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify potential threats and opportunities.
  • Prepare and present business proposals, presentations, and reports to senior management and key stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the Oil & Gas sector or large engine markets.
  • Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the Oil & Gas industry or large engine markets, including key players, trends, and challenges.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
