The Osborne Tech and Eng team are currently recruiting for the role of EHS Engineer to join our client operating in the Pharmaceutical research sector. The successful incumbent will work with all site and management personnel to ensure all company processes and health and safety legislation is adhered to on all sites.
Requirements:
Chemical/Process Engineering degree
Good knowledge of ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 norms/certification and related management systems
Competencies required:
A proven track record of working with cross functional project teams to achieve business goals while adhering to KPIs
Excellent communicator with ability to influence at all levels of the company
Highly motivated and enthusiastic about taking on new challenges
Committed to sharing knowledge and information with colleagues and line managers
Key functions:
Maintain and improve management systems to ensure site is operated in a safe manner
Actively participate as a member of site EHS committees
Lead a safety culture onsite centered on behaviour based safety
Ensure that all plant personal adhere to safe work practices
Develop and lead EHS initiatives across the site
Act as a backup for the EHS manager in their absence
Review all projects in their life cycle and implement EHS requirements
Identify and provide EHS training for staff
Conduct site EHS audits
Review yearly risk assessments
Schedule Hazops as required
