Accounts Assistant
Osborne Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join their clients Finance team based in East Cork.

Salary: 34K to 37K DOE

Responsibilities:

  • Counting and reconciliation of Cash.
  • Running, printing & exporting of Reports from different revenue systems within the company.
  • Importing reports onto Exchequer (Accounts Package)
  • Inputting invoices to Exchequer systems
  • Reconciliation of different outlet revenue and takings against reports.
  • Inputting Journals from reconciliations into accounting package Exchequer, cash / credit card / vouchers / deposits.
  • General office administration such as filing, data entry etc
  • Any other ad hoc accounts tasks as assigned by the Financial Accountant or other senior members of the finance department
  • Assist with special projects as required

What we are looking for

  • General accounts /bookkeeping background
  • Minimum 2 years accounts experience
  • Experience with credit control and purchasing ledger
  • Strong IT skills in implementing and operating accounting software and front office systems.
  • Experience with Exchequer, Opera and Micropay an advantage
  • Full working knowledge of Microsoft excel, outlook and word
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines, excellent attention to detail, have high initiative and be result focused with an ability to prioritise tasks
