Our client is a leading manufacturing company dedicated to delivering high-quality products. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Qualified Assistant Accountant to join their finance team and contribute to their continued success. Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting
Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, cost accounting, and variance analyses to support business decision-making
Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and accounts receivable, including processing invoices, expense claims, and payments
Support inventory management processes, including stock valuation, reconciliation, and reporting
Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors during the audit process
Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support to management as required
Requirements:
Part-qualified accountant (8/13 ACCA)
Cost accounting experience is essential
Previous experience working in an accounting role within the manufacturing sector is essential
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, including financial reporting and analysis
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
