Marketing and Communications Manager

Our client is a dynamic and innovative company in the agricultural sector. As the Marketing and Communications Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing campaigns and communication strategies to drive brand awareness within the agricultural sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans and strategies tailored to the agricultural industry to increase brand awareness and drive sales
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling marketing collateral, including digital content, print materials, and presentations
  • Manage digital marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, and website content, to engage with target audience and drive traffic and conversions
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences, and incorporate findings into marketing strategies.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with industry stakeholders, including farmers, agricultural organisations, and government agencies, to support marketing and promotional activities
  • Lead internal and external communication efforts, including press releases, media relations, and public relations campaigns, to enhance brand reputation and visibility
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and communication initiatives, and adjust strategies as needed to achieve business objectives

Requirements:

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing and communications roles
  • Deep understanding of agricultural practices, trends, and challenges, with a passion for driving innovation and sustainability in the industry
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns and communication strategies, preferably within the agricultural sector
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management, email marketing, and website analytics
  • Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and a results-driven approach
