Project Manager

Our client are looking for a candidate to work with stakeholders at all levels of the business, with direct responsibility for design review, project planning, personnel, and health and safety.
The role will vary from project to project, which may require you to be an assistant alongside a project manager, or to be the individual in charge of a project, overseeing the engineering aspects of the project.

Job Type: Full Time Permanent
Location: Dublin
Salary: 50-80k DOE

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining clear and regular communications with all project stakeholders, including reporting of the project progress to management and escalation of issues when they arise.
  • Carrying out post-handover design review, making sure that the design brief has been met and addressing any potential issues with the Project Team/Manager.
  • Project Programme – Development and Management activities, to include Communicating design deliverable dates to design team, and ensuring delivery dates are achieved.
  • Generating procurement schedules, ensuring product lead times are considered to guarantee that delivery dates are met.
  • Scheduling on-site labour requirements in line with project requirements.
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with vendors.
  • Monitoring project costs, identifying and raising any potential cost overruns.
  • Ensuring that all aspects of the project proceed while adhering to internal company SOPs as well as external regulations and laws – this includes maintenance of project documentation.
  • Troubleshooting problems as they arise on a project – finding efficient and effective solutions.
  • Issuing Health and Safety documentation for implementation of highest safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Good problem-solving skills and communication abilities
  • Strong understanding of BMS, Mechanical and Electrical Systems.
  • Understanding of Current Health & Safety Regulations
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS)
  • Experience with MS Project would be an advantage but not essential.
