Bar Manager – Co. Louth

Here at Osborne, we are currently working with a vibrant and growing bar & restaurant in Co. Louth who are looking to recruit an experienced Bar Manager to join their team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys a busy hospitality environment, leads from the front and is looking for a role where they can have real input into the operation.

The business is continuing to grow, with new developments including a new offering and an enhanced cocktail menu. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to help shape the bar operation, develop service standards and contribute ideas as the business moves into its next stage.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the day to day bar operation
• Lead, motivate and develop the bar team
• Maintain high standards of customer service and overall guest experience
• Support the development of the drinks and cocktail offering
• Manage stock, wastage and operational controls
• Support rostering and ensure appropriate team coverage
• Maintain strong service, cleanliness and presentation standards
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, service and profitability
• Work closely with the wider management team to support continued growth

Requirements:

• Strong bar management or senior hospitality management experience
• Preferably currently managing a busy bar, restaurant or hospitality venue
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast paced environment
• Strong understanding of bar operations, stock management and service standards
• Good knowledge of cocktails, drinks service and customer experience
• Commercially aware with a strong understanding of costs and operational performance
• Highly organised, dependable and confident making decisions
• A hands on approach and willingness to lead from the front
• Ambition to grow and progress into a broader management or General Manager role
