Driver & Warehouse Operative
We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Driver / Warehouse Technician for a temporary assignment with a busy technology company. Based in the Waterford warehouse, this is primarily a driving role involving the delivery, installation and collection of Multi-Functional Printers (MFPs) at customer sites across Cork, Waterford and other parts of Ireland. Warehouse support and basic machine setup will also be required. Full training will be provided.
Location: Waterford
Employment Type: Temporary, 6–8 weeks (Paternity Leave Cover)
Hourly Rate: €17.26 per hour
Hours: Mon – Fri, 7/8am – 3:30/4:30pm
Start Date: ASAP – Roughly first week of December
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive a large van to deliver, install and collect printers and multifunctional devices from customer sites across Ireland.
- Prepare, assemble, configure and test machines before delivery.
- Carry out pre-delivery inspections and assess the condition of returned equipment.
- Assist with warehouse duties, including loading and unloading, stock movements and organising equipment.
- Ensure equipment is transported safely and delivered on schedule.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse and vehicle.
- Provide a professional and friendly service to customers.
Requirements:
- Full, clean driving licence and confidence driving a large van.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting and manoeuvring heavy equipment safely.
- Reliable, punctual and comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail and a practical, hands-on approach.
- Willingness to learn, with full training provided.
- Available to start ASAP for the 6–8 week assignment.
