Accounts Assistant

Osborne are delighted to be recruiting for an Accounts Assistant on behalf of our client, an established transport and freight logistics company based in CityWest, Co. Dublin.

The company provides freight and logistics services to a diverse customer base throughout Ireland and has built its reputation on reliable, efficient and customer-focused service.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounts assistant with strong experience in accounts payable and payroll work including purchasing, invoicing and VAT. You will join a small team who are collaborative and supportive, and the right candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role. The role will develop your skills in payroll and accounts.

This is a permanent role with an immediate start.

Location: CityWest, Dublin
Job Type: Permanent

Hours: 9-5pm
Salary: €40K+

Responsibilities:

• Input sales and purchase invoices into the Sage system
• Reconcile debtors, creditors and bank accounts on a monthly basis
• Assist with the preparation of the weekly payroll run
• Maintain accurate financial records
• Assist with general accounts administration
• Complete other ad hoc duties as required

Experienced required:

• 5 years’ experience in an accounts role is essential
• Strong Sage experience i
• Excellent Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work on your own initiative
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
