Skillnet Network Manager

Osborne Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Skillnet Network Manager to join a well-established professional organisation in Dublin on an 8-month fixed-term contract.

This is a key management position with responsibility for the strategic, operational and financial management of a national training and skills network.

We are seeking an experienced Network Manager, Programme Manager, Training Manager, Project Manager or Business Manager with a strong track record of managing programmes, budgets, stakeholders and operational activity.
Experience within a professional, education, training, membership or regulated environment would be advantageous, along with experience in funding, governance and compliance.

Experience with Skillnet Ireland or similar grant-funded programmes would be highly beneficial.
You will be a highly organised and confident manager with strong stakeholder and communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Location: Dublin (Hybrid Working – 3 days onsite)
  • Salary: €60K ++
  • Duration: 8-month Contract

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic and operational management of the network.
  • Develop and deliver annual business and programme plans.
  • Manage budgets, financial reporting, forecasting and funding requirements.
  • Oversee training programmes, projects and events from planning through to delivery.
  • Ensure governance, compliance, reporting and audit requirements are met.
  • Manage KPIs, performance and programme outcomes.
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, funding bodies, training providers and external partners.
  • Manage suppliers, contracts and procurement processes.

Skills & Experience

  • Relevant third-level qualification and/or significant relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in network, programme, project, training or business management.
  • Strong financial and budget management experience.
  • Experience with funding, governance and compliance.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong Microsoft Office and IT skills.
