Job Description

Accounts and Administration Manager

Salary: €45,000 – €50,000 per annum
Location: Dublin 15

Full time
Permanent

Are you someone who naturally looks at a business and thinks, “There has to be a better way of doing this”?

We’re looking for a proactive, hands-on Accounts & Administration Manager to join a growing business and work closely with the owner to bring greater structure, accountability and efficiency across the business.

This is a role for someone who enjoys taking ownership, building systems and making things happen not simply managing a list of tasks. You’ll take responsibility for the accounts and administration function, while also helping to design and implement better processes, reporting and ways of working across the business.

The role will include:

  • Setting up and developing effective reporting, processes and KPIs.
  • Improving systems for customer onboarding, sales orders, job scheduling and tracking.
  • Creating better workflows and communication between teams.
  • Managing invoicing, payments, credit control and financial administration.
  • Providing clear weekly reporting and visibility on business performance.
  • Identifying issues before they become problems and putting solutions in place.
  • Taking ownership of projects and improvements from idea through to implementation.
  • Working closely with the owner to improve efficiency, accountability and overall workflow.
  • Being hands-on and willing to get involved wherever needed.

About you

  • You’ll be an organised, commercially aware all-rounder who is proactive by nature.
  • You’ll be someone who:
  • Takes ownership and gets things done.
  • Thinks ahead rather than waiting to be told.
  • Enjoys creating order and structure.
  • Is confident setting up and improving systems and processes.
  • Can turn information into clear, useful reporting.
  • Has strong accounts and administration experience.
  • Is confident communicating with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
  • Is comfortable giving direction and driving improvements in a positive way.
  • Wants to be an important part of a growing business.

This is an opportunity to have genuine influence, build something better and become a key part of the business as it grows. If you’re the person who naturally spots what isn’t working, works out how to improve it and then gets on with making it happen, we’d love to hear from you.
