Payroll Executive – Dublin

Working Model: On-site – potential for 1 day WFH after training
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: €50,000
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Payroll Executive to join a busy Finance team within a large healthcare environment in Dublin.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroll professional who is confident managing high-volume payrolls from start to finish. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while maintaining compliance with payroll legislation, Revenue requirements and internal procedures.
The successful candidate will have at least two years’ experience processing high-volume payroll and will be highly organised, numerically strong and comfortable working to strict deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls from start to finish.
- Process timesheets, starters, leavers, salary changes and contract amendments.
- Calculate PAYE, PRSI, USC, pension and other statutory deductions.
- Submit payroll information to Revenue through ROS.
- Prepare bank files, payroll journals, reconciliations and reports.
- Maintain accurate employee and payroll records.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee and management queries.
- Support payroll audits and year-end reporting.
- Ensure confidentiality, accuracy and compliance with Data Protection requirements.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience processing high-volume payroll from start to finish.
- Strong knowledge of Irish payroll legislation and Revenue requirements.
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet strict payroll deadlines.
- Proficiency in payroll systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Leaving Certificate or equivalent is essential.
- IPASS qualification is desirable.
- Experience with Megapay, ROS or healthcare payroll systems would be an advantage.
