Store Manager – Retail

Osborne Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Store Manager to join a leading retail organisation.

As Store Manager, you will play a key role in the successful day-to-day running of the store. You will lead, coach and develop your team while ensuring operational standards, customer service and sales targets are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead & Develop a Strong Team
• Recruit, train and coach team members to achieve their full potential.
• Create a positive, collaborative and motivating working environment.
• Recognise individual strengths and develop team members through coaching and support.
• Lead by example and ensure the team remains focused on delivering excellent results.
• Manage Store Operations & Drive Performance
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, including cash handling, stock management and health & safety procedures.
• Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities to increase revenue.
• Develop and implement plans to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Ensure high standards are maintained across all areas of the store.
• Deliver an Exceptional Customer Experience
• Build strong relationships with customers and ensure consistently high levels of service.
• Lead the team in delivering a professional, welcoming and engaging customer experience.
• Act as an ambassador for the organisation, maintaining a polished and professional presence.
• Ensure attention to detail across all aspects of the customer journey and store presentation.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous leadership or management experience within retail, hospitality, cosmetics or a similar customer-focused environment.
• Strong people management and coaching skills.
• Commercially minded with a proven understanding of sales targets and performance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Adaptable and hands-on, with the ability to support the team on the shop floor during busy periods.
• A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
• Flexibility to work across store opening hours, including evenings and weekends.
