Site Engineer

Salary: €75,000 DOE
Osborne Recruitment is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join the Construction Management Team of a well-established building contractor in Dublin.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Construction Management Team, subcontractors and site personnel to ensure construction activities are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with project specifications, company standards and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out setting out, levelling and surveying activities accurately and efficiently.
- Complete quality control activities, including concrete cube sampling, slump testing and associated procedures.
- Inspect shuttering, reinforcement and dimensional accuracy prior to concrete pours.
- Maintain accurate materials reconciliation and site records.
- Keep comprehensive site documentation, including site diaries and quality records.
- Upload and maintain relevant project information on the Document Management System (DMS).
- Coordinate and supervise directly employed staff and subcontractors across various construction activities.
Requirements:
- Relevant Engineering qualification.
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience working with a building contractor.
- Strong IT skills with good knowledge of relevant construction software.
- Good working knowledge of surveying instruments and site equipment.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, quality requirements and site procedures.
