HR Officer – 12 Month Contract
Location: Dublin 8
Salary: €40,000 – €45,000 DOE
Contract: 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Working Arrangement: 4 days on-site, 1 day hybrid
We are currently seeking an experienced HR Officer to join a well-established not-for-profit organisation based in Dublin 8.
This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys working in a supportive and friendly environment and is looking to take on a varied HR role within a values-driven organisation.
The Role
Reporting to the HR Manager, the successful candidate will provide comprehensive HR support across the organisation and will be involved in the full range of day-to-day HR activities.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the recruitment and selection process from start to finish.
- Preparing contracts, HR documentation and employee correspondence.
- Supporting onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records.
- Providing advice and support to employees and managers on HR policies and procedures.
- Assisting with employee relations matters.
- Supporting performance management and absence management processes.
- Coordinating HR administration and ensuring compliance with employment legislation.
- Assisting with HR policies, procedures and projects.
- Supporting training and development initiatives.
- Preparing HR reports and maintaining HR systems.
- Providing general HR advice and support across the organisation.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in an HR role.
- A relevant HR qualification is desirable.
- Good knowledge of HR policies, procedures and employment legislation.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A proactive, approachable and professional manner.
