Accountant

We are working with a well established and highly regarded accountancy practice in Bandon, West Cork, who are looking to recruit a Junior / Recently Qualified Accountant to join their growing team.

PERMANENT ROLE

ON SITE – BANDON, WEST CORK

MONDAY TO FRIDAY

€35,000 – €45,000

EARLY FINISH EVERY FRIDAY

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has recently completed, or is close to completing, their professional accounting qualification and already has approximately 2–4 years’ experience within an accountancy practice.

Long-term development and progression opportunities

Key Responsibilities:

• Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet information
• Managing VAT and PAYE requirements
• Working with ROS, CRO and CORE
• Liaising directly with clients and business owners
• Attending occasional client meetings and site visits
• Working with Sage and other accounting/practice systems
• Regular use of Microsoft Excel and the wider Microsoft Office Suite

Requirements for Role:

• Approximately 2–4 years’ experience within an accountancy practice
• Recently qualified, newly qualified or nearing completion of a recognised professional accounting qualification
• ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent
• Strong practical accounts preparation experience
• Experience using ROS, CRO and CORE, Sage
• Proactive, professional and personable approach
• Keen to continue developing and build a long term career within practice
