General Warehouse Operative – Leixlip

Osborne Recruitment are currently recruiting for General Operatives and Warehouse Operatives for a number of temporary positions in Leixlip, Co. Kildare.

These are excellent opportunities for candidates with previous warehouse, logistics, manufacturing or general operative experience who are available to start immediately and are looking for short-term temporary work.

The roles will involve working as part of a busy team in a fast-paced operational environment, with duties depending on the position.

Warehouse Operative Responsibilities

Previous warehouse experience is required for the Warehouse Operative positions.

Duties:

• Loading and unloading pallets and goods.
• Moving stock safely using pallet trucks and forklifts.
• Receiving, handling and organising goods.
• Preparing products and materials for dispatch.
• Supporting general warehouse operations.
• Maintaining accurate and organised stock areas.
• Ensuring the warehouse and work areas are kept clean and tidy.
• Following all warehouse processes, procedures and health and safety requirements.
• Working to deadlines in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Taking direction from management and senior warehouse staff.

To be considered for the Warehouse Operative positions, candidates must:

• Have previous warehouse experience.
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse or logistics environment.
• Have previous experience operating forklifts and pallet trucks.
• Have experience with loading and unloading pallets.
• Hold a valid Manual Handling certificate.
• Hold a valid, in-date Forklift Licence/Ticket
• Hold valid and in-date Pallet Truck certification, where applicable.
• Be safety-conscious and able to follow workplace procedures.
• Be physically capable of carrying out the duties associated with the role.
• Be reliable, punctual and flexible regarding shift requirements.
• Bring all relevant and valid licences/tickets with you when attending your first shift.
• Have own safety shoes.

Working Hours & Shifts

• Day and night shifts are available.
• 8am to 5pm or 8am to 8pm Day Shift
• 8pm to 8am Night Shift

Candidates must be flexible regarding shift patterns and be prepared to work the hours required by the client.

• Immediate start available.
• Temporary assignments of approximately 4–8 weeks.

Important Information

Due to the nature of these temporary positions, availability to start immediately is essential.

Warehouse candidates must ensure that all relevant forklift, pallet truck and manual handling certifications are valid and in date. Candidates must also bring their relevant tickets/certificates with them when attending their first shift.
