Finance Manager

We are proud to partner with our client a well-established and growing property management company who is seeking a Finance Manager to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive individual who enjoys taking ownership of their work and thrives in a collaborative, small team environment.

Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full finance function for a portfolio of approximately 35 clients
  • Manage annual accounts from preparation through to audit and statutory filings
  • Lead and support a team of 3 finance professionals
  • Issue customer billing and manage card payment processing
  • Liaise with third-party partners to support receivables
  • Ensure timely and accurate bank reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly client reporting packs
  • Support the preparation of annual client budgets
  • Manage multiple client bank accounts
  • Respond promptly to internal and external finance queries
  • Prepare VAT workings and submit VAT returns
  • Own and continuously improve finance systems and processes

Skills & Experience

  • Qualified or part-qualified accountant (experience considered)
  • Minimum of 5 years’ relevant finance experience
  • Property management experience is an advantage, but a strong track record in a similar finance leadership role is equally valued.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts preparation and financial reporting
  • Proven experience managing and developing a small team
  • Excellent customer service mindset and attention to details
  • Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines
  • Proactive, hands-on and solutions-focused approach
