Accounts Assistant
We are currently working with an exciting new client in Dublin West and they are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join there team.
Salary and Benefits:

Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Record Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including sales, purchases, and expenses, ensuring all transactions are correctly documented
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process invoices, verify payments, manage supplier accounts, raise sales invoices, and follow up on outstanding payment
- Bank and Ledger Reconciliations: Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations, reconcile accounts, and ensure accuracy in financial statement
- Month-End and Year-End Support: Assist with journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and preparation of financial reports for management
- Budgeting and Forecasting Assistance: Gather financial data, prepare reports, and support budget preparation and variance analysis
- Expense and Petty Cash Management: Process employee expense claims, handle petty cash, and ensure compliance with company policies
- Client and Supplier Communication: Respond to queries regarding invoices, payments, and account discrepancies
- Audit Support: Provide documentation and assistance during internal and external
Key Requirements:
- IATI is a distinct advantage
- Proficient with Excel and Sage
- Must have excellent time management
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to explain financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Positive can-do attitude with a proactive approach
