Job Description

The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join a high-performing manufacturing operation in Co. Cork.

For You:

  • Salary DOE
  • Shift Pattern: 3 x 12-hour rotating shifts (Days & Nights)
  • Shift Premium
  • Pension

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preventative maintenance and monitoring of machines.
  • Maximisation of machine up time and utilisation.
  • To become familiar with all aspects of new equipment / technology including production processes.
  • To carry out changeover of machines in line with production schedules and new product builds.
  • Review machines / area on an ongoing basis, with a view to possible improvements.
  • Responsibility for environmental issues within your area.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Electronic Manufacturing.
  • Cert/Diploma in Engineering (NFQ Level 6 or 7)
  • Knowledge in Pneumatics, Electronics, Hydraulics, PLC’s, Servo Motor Drives, Vision and SCADA systems.
  • Systematic approach to fault finding & process improvements.
  • Process capability including 6 sigma approach & Measurement systems.
  • Effective documentation & reporting skills.
