Spare Parts Administrator
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Spare Parts Administrator to support a significant spare parts improvement project within a busy industrial environment in North Cork. This is a 6-month contract and would be an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to gain valuable experience in data management, inventory control and project support.
For You:
Salary: €38,000 – €40,000
Contract: 6 Months
Responsibilities
- Review existing spare parts records within the current ERP system.
- Update spare parts descriptions in line with agreed naming conventions and data standards.
- Identify and correct inaccurate, incomplete or inconsistent records.
- Identify potential duplicate material records for further review.
- Ensure all data is entered accurately and consistently.
- Maintain high standards of data quality throughout the project.
- Verify part numbers, manufacturer details, specifications and other identifying information.
- Compare physical parts against existing system records.
- Record and report any discrepancies identified.
- Assist with tracking project progress and completion rates.
- Attend team meetings to discuss progress, priorities and challenges.
Requirements
- Recent graduate or early-career professional with a relevant qualification, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Comfortable working with data and spreadsheets.
- Microsoft Excel skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
- A methodical and organised approach to work.
- Willingness to work in industrial stores and maintenance environments.
- Positive attitude with a strong willingness to learn.
- Experience in administration, data entry or data management.
