Job Description

Spare Parts Administrator

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Spare Parts Administrator to support a significant spare parts improvement project within a busy industrial environment in North Cork. This is a 6-month contract and would be an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to gain valuable experience in data management, inventory control and project support.

For You:
Salary: €38,000 – €40,000
Contract: 6 Months

Responsibilities

  • Review existing spare parts records within the current ERP system.
  • Update spare parts descriptions in line with agreed naming conventions and data standards.
  • Identify and correct inaccurate, incomplete or inconsistent records.
  • Identify potential duplicate material records for further review.
  • Ensure all data is entered accurately and consistently.
  • Maintain high standards of data quality throughout the project.
  • Verify part numbers, manufacturer details, specifications and other identifying information.
  • Compare physical parts against existing system records.
  • Record and report any discrepancies identified.
  • Assist with tracking project progress and completion rates.
  • Attend team meetings to discuss progress, priorities and challenges.

Requirements

  • Recent graduate or early-career professional with a relevant qualification, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Good organisational and time-management skills.
  • Comfortable working with data and spreadsheets.
  • Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
  • A methodical and organised approach to work.
  • Willingness to work in industrial stores and maintenance environments.
  • Positive attitude with a strong willingness to learn.
  • Experience in administration, data entry or data management.
