Customer Service Executive

Location: Dublin 12 (Hybrid)
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: €32,000-€35,0000

Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Customer Service Executive to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences while driving operational efficiency and continuous improvement.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing customer orders and enquiries from start to finish, while building strong, long-term customer relationships and supporting our sales team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who takes pride in delivering customer service and enjoys working in a busy team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer orders from receipt through to confirmation, invoicing and delivery.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries by phone and email.
  • Monitor and track deliveries, keeping customers informed of progress.
  • Handle customer claims, complaints and issues through to resolution.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships through regular communication.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records and data.
  • Provide information and administrative support to the external sales team.
  • Identify opportunities for additional and retail sales by understanding customer needs.
  • Provide product advice and recommend suitable products based on customer requirements.
  • Prepare customer-specific order forms, quotations and offers.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel.
  • Positive, professional, reliable and adaptable approach.
  • Experience in customer service, administration or order processing is desirable.
  • Experience with CRM, ERP or order management systems is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of workwear, clothing, PPE, safety wear or distribution would be beneficial.
  • Commercial awareness and confidence identifying opportunities for additional sales.
