Business Development Manager

I’m currently recruiting for an experienced Business Development Manager on behalf of a leading supplier of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), corporate uniforms, janitorial products, and workplace safety solutions.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional who enjoys building strong customer relationships, winning new business, and developing existing accounts. The successful candidate will join a well-established and growing business with a strong reputation for quality products and excellent customer service.

The Role

As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by identifying new business opportunities and managing customer relationships across a range of industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Manage your sales pipeline and achieve agreed sales targets.
• Meet with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products and solutions.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate contracts, and close sales.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service.
• Keep customer records up to date using the company’s CRM system.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity.

About You

Skills:

• Previous experience in business development or B2B sales.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive and target-driven approach.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• A full, clean driving licence.
