Site Lead

Osborne Recruitment is currently recruiting a Site Lead on behalf of our client, based in Newbridge, Co. Kildare.

Reporting to the Area Program Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the on-site team, managing day-to-day storeroom operations, and building strong client relationships while ensuring high service standards and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety requirements.
  • Liaise with engineers and client stakeholders to maximise the efficient operation of the storeroom.
  • Oversee all storeroom operations, including inventory management, stock control, cycle counting, inventory reduction initiatives, and data accuracy.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage the on-site team, including HR-related responsibilities, procurement activities, supplier engagement, daily team meetings, and fostering a positive team environment.
  • Support area management by preparing accurate daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
  • Meet strict deadlines while delivering timely and accurate reporting.
  • Drive site performance by achieving agreed KPIs.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key client stakeholders.
  • Assist with additional operational duties as required, including invoice query resolution, developing and maintaining site SOPs, ensuring mandatory training compliance, and providing buyer support when required.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A strong background in procurement with excellent administrative and organisational skills.
  • Previous experience managing, coaching, and developing teams.
  • Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Ariba, or EAM platforms.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
  • A flexible, proactive, and solutions-focused approach.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • Previous experience within a pharmaceutical or GMP-regulated environment would be a distinct advantage.
